Curious about having your next event catered with Yummy Lara’s Ayurvedic inspired vegetarian and organic delights?

I am passionate about food and health and what truly inspires me is fresh local and organic food picked straight out of the garden. That’s why I buy most of my produce from the local farmer’s market or from my local organic food supplier, Santos Organics. I love to deliver freshly cooked meals that are alive and full of energy – just how nature intended! I can create a menu that suits your particular event, gathering, workshop, training or retreat.  The recipes featured on my website are also part of my catering menu along with many others please request them if you want them included in your meal plan. I am based in beautiful Byron Bay and am happy to travel to your house or venue.

Breakfast Options

Hearty Buckwheat and Quinoa Porridge

With sultanas, sesame seeds and chia seeds topped with toasted nuts and served with stewed apples, pears cinnamon, and star anise.

Creamy Cardamom and Millet porridge

With Coconut Milk, Black currants served with stewed berries

Scrambled Eggs and Roasted Potatoes

Served with avocado, fresh tomato chutney, and fresh herbs and toast (Gf available)

Zingy Zucchini Fritters

Served with, lemon, tasty tomato chutney, fresh green salad with toasted nuts and seeds and dressing, and Toast (Gf available)

Self Serve Breakfast

Includes fresh seasonal fruit, yogurt (Dairy and Non-Dairy), and toasted muesli with almonds, spices, and seeds. A variety of fresh local sourdough bread (Gf available). Jam, nut butter, homemade vegemite.

Lunch Options

Yummy Pesto Pasta with Seasonal Vegies

Broccoli and zucchini, pasta is GF (rice and Quinoa Penne) with fresh pesto: with cashews, rocket (basil if in season or a combination of rocket and parsley). Served with a Marinated Kale salad, with Grated beetroot and carrot, roasted sunflower seeds, and currants.

  Classic Yummy Dhal and Rice

(Moong or Split Red Lentil or sprouted Mung beans) and rice (white basmati, brown basmati or quinoa or a combination) Pilaf (turmeric, cardamom, sultanas, and cinnamon) are served with a Seasonal fresh green salad with herbs, edible flowers, and homemade dressing and freshly made chutney, toasted seeds, and nuts

Ayurvedic Laksa

Glass House noodles (Mung beans) and mixed veg (broccoli, carrot, bean sprouts, kale, and tofu served in a silky coconut broth of lemongrass and kefir lime leaves, topped off with roasted cashews

And lemon served with an Asian green salad.

Ayurvedic Nourishing Bowl

Stir-fried carrots, broccoli, zucchini and green beans with tofu sautéed in my special Ayurvedic sauce served with a mixed green salad, fresh herbs and dressing and home made hummus, scrumptious dill and beetroot relish, toasted nuts and seeds, and Brown basmati rice pilaf cooked with sultanas, cinnamon, cardamom, and turmeric.

Cannellini Bean, Silverbeet, Carrot and Bay leaf Stew

And sweet potato served with brown basmati rice and a Cos lettuce salad with a vegan aioli dressing

Sweet Potato and Cannellini Bean Masala Patties

Made with parsley, dill and spring onions these patties are served with Beetroot relish, avocado, hummus, Cos lettuce, cucumber, and fresh tomato.

Dinner options

My Famous Roast Tempeh and Roasted Veg

(I usually use Fava bean tempeh) and Veggie dish served with a seasonal mixed salad, rice (or grain of choice) and a tangy Raita (Yogurt sauce, I can also make it vegan!) that can be drizzled on top or used as a dip, yum!

  Yummy Classic Green Bean and Sweet Potato Curry served with Brown Basmati Rice and Quinoa Pilaf Seasonal fresh Chutney and a fresh Green salad with herbs and dressing

Polenta and Ratatouille (Zucchini, capsicum and eggplant roasted and then mixed with Italian herbs and spices) served with a Fresh Rocket Salad with cucumbers, dill and fennel.

Mixed Seasonal Veg Coconut and Tofu Curry

Star anise and cardamom, served with an Asian style coleslaw, and Jasmine rice

Beetroot Stew (Vegan Borscht)

Made with carrot, celery, purple cabbage, bay leaves and spices

Served with brown basmati rice, yogurt (non-dairy available) and fresh green salad

Made with apple cider vinegar, olive oil, maple syrup and mixed spices


Please note these catering rates include travel costs and delivery or preparation of food at venues. 

A 35% non-refundable deposit needs to be paid upon booking for a catering event. The remainder is to be paid once numbers have been confirmed and prior to the start date of the event.
